Turnaround Lead “Inequality” for Earth4All Austria

Dr. rer. pol Meike Bukowski (Ecological Economist), is Senior Scientist/Postdoc at the Paris-Lodron University Salzburg Department of Social Science Geography and Sociology and at the Center for Ethics and Poverty Research. She researches and teaches on ecological economic topics related to space, environmental and climate justice, affordable and environmentally/climate-friendly housing and urban inequalities (see Bukowski, Kreissl 2022).

She cultivated her expertise in the field of international sustainability research in various research and teaching experiences (Brazil, Tanzania, Zanzibar, USA, Denmark etc.).

She is currently leading the “Schwerpunkt 2” (Wellbeing Monitoring, UniNEtZ). To this end, she is working on participatory and co-creative modeling (🔗ACRP – SDGVisionPath) with a focus on SDG1/10 and priority SDG monitoring, qualitative indicator development. In this sense, she supports the Club of Rome nationally and internationally (see UNGA 78) and is co-organizer of the turnaround event and the workshop on turnaround inequality (🔗Project Earth4All Austria).
