Transfers in Bucharest
ARRIVING BY PLANE
You will be welcomed at the airport by a representative of the conference organizers MAGNUM Ltd. Transport to and from the airport will be provided by the organizers on Thursday, 5 and on Saturday, 7 March. Participants arriving or departing on another day are kindly asked to directly arrange for individual taxi transfers at the airport or at the hotel reception, at their own expenses. Transfers on Sunday, 8 March can only be provided on an exceptional basis.
ARRIVING BY TRAIN
If you are an international participant and travel by train you will be welcomed at the railway station by a representative of the conference organizers MAGNUM Ltd. Transport to and from the railway station will be provided by the organizers on Thursday, 5 and on Saturday, 7 March.International participants arriving or departing on another day are kindly asked to directly arrange for individual taxi transfers at the airport or at the hotel reception, at their own expenses. Transfers on Sunday, 8 March can only be provided on an exceptional basis.
If you are Romanian participant and arrive by train please find the information on public transportation between train station and hotel:
- By metro from "Gara de Nord" Station: take the M2, there are 9 stops to the Aparatorii Patriei station. From there you can take the bus no. 102, there are 3 stops to the "Sere" station, which is located in front of the hotel.
- By bus from "Gara de Nord" Station, take the bus no. 123, to the "Real" supermarket. From there you can take the bus no. 102, there are 2 stops to the "Sere" station, which is located in front of the hotel.
- By taxi: we advise you to ask the price beforehand, as the price might considerably vary from company to company.

Guidelines for reimbursement
For those participants whose travel costs will be covered by the organizers in accordance with prior arrangements with the Task Force Fostering and Building Human Capital, please mind the following information:
- You are kindly asked to pre-finance all costs related to your travel to the conference.
- Due to organisational reasons, reimbursement of travel costs is possible only upon submission of original receipts and documents:
- original receipt of the travel agency
- and the original flight/bus/train ticket incl. boarding passes.
We would also kindly remind you, that flight costs can only be covered up to the current APEX rate or to the most economic equivalent.
Transportation from and to airports, train and bus stations in your country should be by public transport, except in cases of time constraints or due to the number of people travelling.
Participants, who are travelling by car are kindly asked to chose the shortest possible route and to submit the following documents for reimbursement (0,25 € per km):
- invoice with an overview of the covered distance in km (internet route calculator) and the date and the persons travelling by car
- With regard to eventual visa costs, please also include
- a copy of your passport
- a copy of the visa itself
- the original receipt issued.
Reimbursement will be made in Euro to the account number provided by you. Please include the following information on your bank coordinates:
- bank account number / IBAN
- account holder
- address of account holder
- name of your bank
- address of your bank
- swift code / BIC of the bank (8 or 11 digits)
