Happiness and Sustainable Development
About the Statement
How we can explain the fact that even if we have been dealing for several decades with the unsustainability
of our way of thinking and the tendency of development, mass of people are not committed to sustainable development?
Do we have information about how different factors, such as economic interest (both urging business and saving),
reference to moral and general values, fashion, etc. motivate people in changing?
How we can make more impact on changing of paradigm?
Could the psychology – and particularly the flow theory - (the flow in many aspects close to the state of happiness and according to
the latest researches has a direct connection with the activity, made in small communities, for a more complex society and
harmonious future) help us in this regard?
