About

The activities of the CoR-EU are framed within the objectives of the Club of Rome:
  • A global perspective, recognising the increasing inter-dependence of nations and regions.

  • A holistic approach, seeking a deeper understanding of complex contemporary problems.
  • An inter-disciplinary and long-term perspective, focused on the choices and policies determining the destiny of future generations.
One of the main activities is the organisation of regular lectures (with an average of 9 per year) at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium in Brussels, under the title Aurelio Peccei Lectures and Dialogues. At date the CoR-EU has held 75 lectures. Full list available upon request.

Special events have been held in collaboration with the European Commission, the European Parliament, and private partners, such as OIKOS, VODO, GreenFacts.

An academic event is held once a year in presence of H.R.H. Prince Philip of Belgium, Honorary President of the CoR-EU. On this occasion honorary membership is conferred to a distinguished personality.
